Remember the Ant!

How many of you remember these famous lyrics by Jimmy Van Heusen & Sammy Cahn?
“…Just what makes that little old ant
Think he’ll move that rubber tree plant
Anyone knows an ant, can’t
Move a rubber tree plant
But he’s got high hopes, he’s got high hopes
He’s got high apple pie, in the sky hopes
So any time you’re gettin’ low
‘Stead of lettin’ go
Just remember that ant
Oops, there goes another rubber tree plant
Oops, there goes another rubber tree plant
Oops, there goes another rubber tree plant…”
Belief is a powerful thing. If we can conceive it, we can create it by using the force of our thoughts’ creation as fuel to power us through. Our thoughts have power; our thoughts have matter. During the physical thought process, each synapse of energy from neuron to dentrite in the brain, is creation itself. Thoughts take on a physical form. They create our words and actions.
I ask you–what are you creating – words and actions laced with fear or or words and actions laced with love?
People enjoy labeling everything and typically most things fall into the “good” or “bad” category. In reality everything has an origin in fear or in love; and neither are “good” or “bad”, they just are.
So in line with the wisdom above and the lyrics about the tenacious ant, be patient with yourself knowing that all good things eventually come to those who believe. So don’t give up and don’t you settle for anything less than what you know you deserve!
